What we do

Considered design, end to end.

From the first site walk to the final planting plan, we cover every step that takes a garden from idea to a place you can stand in.

Garden Design

Every garden starts with your site and the way you want to live in it. We walk the section, read the sun, wind, soil and views, then work up a concept that turns all of that into a considered layout of spaces, levels, paths and planting.

From the concept we develop the detail: the terrace that catches the evening sun, the screen that gives you privacy, the lawn sized for the children. You get a garden that feels inevitable, not decorated.

Planting Plans

Planting is where a garden comes alive, and where it most often goes wrong. We choose plants that suit your soil and aspect and that belong in the New Zealand climate, then set them out in layers so the garden reads well in every season.

You receive a full planting plan and schedule: what goes where, at what spacing, and in what quantity, so the garden can be priced, sourced and planted with no guesswork.

  • Plant selection for your site
  • Layered planting design
  • Full planting schedule
  • Native and low-maintenance options

Consents and Documentation

A beautiful plan is only useful if it can be built and approved. We prepare the drawings and documentation that councils and builders actually need, so your project moves through consent and onto site without stalling.

That means clear plans, sections, schedules and specifications, coordinated with your architect or builder, and support through the resource consent process where it is required.

  • Resource consent support
  • Planting and hardscape schedules
  • Construction documentation
  • Coordination with your builder

Developer Landscapes

For subdivisions and multi-unit developments, landscape is both a consent requirement and a selling point. We produce clear, consent-ready landscape documentation that satisfies the conditions and lifts the finished scheme.

We work to programme and budget, and keep the documentation buildable, so your contractors can price and deliver it without a stream of questions.

  • Consent-ready landscape plans
  • Common area and streetscape design
  • Specification to budget
  • Staged delivery documentation
